Owning Your Experience

July 2nd, 10-11am MDT

Free | Online via Zoom

The entire game changes when you choose to believe that you create your own experience, and that someone or something is not doing it to you.

The skill to think and communicate in this way is rare since most people were taught the opposite growing up.

The CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, handed out copies of Non-Violent Communication at his first executive meeting. This book teaches the art of owning your experience and the core concepts will be practiced in this session.

You will learn to:

  • End drama and blame.

  • Speak unarguably.

  • Ask for what you want.

  • Navigate tough conversations.

  • Start taking full responsibility for your thoughts and feelings.

  • Stop taking responsibility for other’s thoughts and feelings.

Revealing Withholds

June 4th, 10-11am MDT

Free | Online via Zoom

Learn a skill for creating more open and honest communication in your relationships.

“Withholds” are any facts, thoughts (beliefs, assumptions, opinions, and judgements), or feelings that you are aware of and have not shared with someone, which impacts the quality of connection, personal growth, or team effectiveness.

Teams that reveal withholds reduce social friction that gets in the way of achieving extraordinary levels of innovation, productivity, and social connection.

You will learn to:

  • Notice withholds that you have with current relationships (colleagues, friends, family, etc).

  • Discern when to reveal vs withhold.

  • Skillfully reveal withholds in a way that is compassionate and constructive.

  • Create more social connection and intimacy.

  • Invite others to speak more truthfully to you.
